Thoughtfully Thrifted
Miranda Allen About Page Header

Hi, My Name is Miranda…

I live on the West Michigan lakeshore in a creaky old Victorian with my future hubby and two pups, Porter and Piper. I studied marketing in undergrad and went on to earn my MBA at Ball State University, chirp, chirp. I worked as a digital marketing specialist for two years out of college and now, I am a marketing manager at a medical device company in Indianapolis. I also own a digital marketing company, Thoughtfully Designed, that helps badass women grow their online blogs and businesses. I’ve always loved to write and had an entrepreneurial itch. I started my first blog in 2014, but couldn’t quite land on anything I was deeply passionate about. After many, many attempts, I found my passion, vintage, thrifting, and home decor. Over two years, I built an amazing community of home decor loving women on @thoughtfullythrifted and one day I realized something was pulling on my heart strings. God was telling me to open up my heart and share the real, raw intricacies of life with these amazing women. This community is about more than home decor. It is a place of true transparency for women all over the word to connect, inspire, and share their truth. Thanks for being here.

WITH LOVE FROM HER HEART

Sharing pieces of my story one post at a time

From the outside looking in, it might look like I have it all together. Like my life is a picture perfect Instagram feed filled with love, travel, a supportive family, a beautiful home, and a loving fiance. While most of that is true, there is so much more to my story. In today’s social media world, we are so quick to judge a book by it’s cover. There is no road to happiness, success, or fulfillment. Life is a journey and each page makes up your never ending story. This blog, With Love from Her Heart, is where I share mine and would love for you to share yours, too.

I’m 25 years old, but age is just a number. I’ve lived a lot of life in these 25 years. As a product of divorce, I grew up grasping for an identify. Looking for a way to fill this huge hole in my heart, which was usually attempted with romantic relationships. I graduated high school at 17, college at 20, bought a house at 21, earned an MBA, flipped my first house, bought my dream home, and was dumped by my fiance at 22, found my soulmate at 23, moved back to my home state at 24, and now it’s time to turn the page to year 25. This year is bound to be the best one yet.
